We spent the first week in the Southern state of Karnataka visiting Mysore, Kabini, Bandipur and Bangalore. Kabini and Bandipur are wildlife sanctuaries. Bangalore has lately been in the Western press under stories usually titled "Where are all the tech jobs going?"
