Mahabalipuram

We visited Mahabalipuram on the second day of our trip. A World Heritage listed site about 40 Kms South of Chennai (where I am originally from), it consists of a series of 7th century temples and sculpture. If you can ignore the touts, it is a great place to spend a day.

Come to think of it, that's true for most tourist destinations in India.
